About The Owner
In 2012, Lennard Rosses was a prominent film producer based in Grand Rapids, known for his creativity and visionary storytelling. However, in 2017, a market shift forced him to disband his film company, prompting him to pivot his career. He took a job in environmental services on the bustling Medical Mile of West Michigan, determined to learn everything he could about the industry. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Lennard approached his new role with one question in mind: What business could he build from this experience? Seven years later, Lennard had mastered the intricacies of environmental services, from SDS data sheets to chemical management. Yet, the vision for his own venture remained elusive. One morning, on his drive home from work, he listened to a podcast featuring an interview about waste management. Suddenly, everything clicked. With his extensive background in EVS and a passion for community health, the idea of launching a waste management company made perfect sense. Weeks later, parked near a dog park in his neighborhood, Lennard watched as pet owners navigated the hassle of cleaning up after their dogs. Inspiration struck. This was it—the opportunity he had been searching for. Within days, Lennard began consulting with industry experts, laying the groundwork for what would become Swoop Champ, a company dedicated to efficient and health-focused pet waste removal.
